Ausgangssituation
Das Innovationsökosystem in Ecuador befindet sich in einem frühen Stadium. Um innovative Ideen zu generieren, entwickeln, testen und schließlich breit einzusetzen, müssen Beteiligte aus verschiedenen Gesellschaftsbereichen effektiv zusammenarbeiten und vernetzt sein. Dazu gehören staatliche und nichtstaatliche Akteur*innen sowie Organisationen und Gruppen aus Politik, Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft. Ein erfolgreiches Innovationsnetzwerk kann alle Beteiligten, Ressourcen und Beziehungen für die Entwicklung und Verbreitung von Innovationen mobilisieren.

Ziel
Die Verantwortlichen im ecuadorianischen Innovationsökosystem verbessern ihre Zusammenarbeit und erweitern ihre Kenntnisse von Innovationslösungen in Entwicklungsprojekten in den Themen Frieden und gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt, Umweltschutz und nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung.

Vorgehensweise
Das Vorhaben setzt folgende Maßnahmen um:
- Es berät und baut Wissen für staatliche und nichtstaatliche Beteiligte im nationalen Innovationsnetzwerk aus. Sie können ihre Fähigkeiten zu Innovationen in Entwicklungsprojekten in den Themen Frieden und gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt, Umwelt- und Ressourcenschutz sowie nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung verbessern.
- Es baut ein Trainings- und Betreuungsprogramm für die Handlungsträger*innen des Innovationsökosystems auf.
- Es fördert ferner eine intensivere Zusammenarbeit der verschiedenen Interessensvertre¬ter*innen im Innovationsökosystem. Zudem unterstützt es strategische Partnerschaften zwischen den Verantwortlichen der Entwicklungsprojekte und der Verwaltung, um Innovationen breit einzusetzen.

 

Context
The innovation ecosystem in Ecuador is in its infancy. To generate, develop, test and ultimately implement innovative ideas on a broad scale, actors from different areas of society need to work together effectively and be networked. These include state and non-governmental actors as well as organisations and groups from politics, academia, the private sector and civil society. A successful innovation network can mobilise all actors, resources and relationships to promote the development and dissemination of innovations.

Objective
The actors responsible in the Ecuadorian innovation ecosystem are improving their cooperation and expanding their knowledge of innovation solutions in development projects in the areas of peaceful and inclusive societies, environmental protection and sustainable urban development.

Approach
The project implements the following measures:

It advises and develops knowledge for state and non-governmental actors in the national innovation network. They can improve their ability to innovate in development projects in the areas of peaceful and inclusive societies, environmental protection and resource conservation and sustainable urban development.
It is developing a training and support programme for actors in the innovation ecosystem.
It promotes more intensive cooperation between the various stakeholder representatives in the innovation ecosystem. It also supports strategic partnerships between those responsible for development projects and the administration in order to utilise innovations on a broad scale.
