Im letzten Jahrzehnt war die peruanische Wirtschaft eine der am schnellsten wachsenden in Lateinamerika. Die vor allem von Kleinst- und Kleinbetrieben geprägte verarbeitende Industrie spielt eine wichtige Rolle und beschäftigt etwa 15 Prozent der erwerbstätigen Bevölkerung.

Diese Industrie trägt unter anderem durch ineffiziente Technologien erheblich zur Umweltverschmutzung in städtischen Zentren bei und ist für übermäßigen Wasser- und Energieverbrauch verantwortlich.

Einführung und Ausbau einer nachhaltigen Kreislaufwirtschaft (KLW) haben in Peru daher politische Priorität. Die KLW ist für die Erreichung der nationalen Klimaziele, der Ziele der Agenda 2030 und der Produktionsdiversifizierung des Landes von hoher Bedeutung. 2020 wurde als wichtiger Meilenstein der nationale Aktionsplan zum Übergang der verarbeitenden Industrie in die Kreislaufwirtschaft verabschiedet, den es nun umzusetzen gilt.

Die Voraussetzungen sind verbessert, um den Aktionsplan zum Übergang der verarbeitenden Industrie in die Kreislaufwirtschaft umzusetzen.

Das Projekt berät das Produktionsministerium und die verarbeitende Industrie zu folgenden Themen:
§ Es unterstützt die Anpassung von Regelwerken und richtet Förderungs- und Finanzierungsmodelle auf den Übergang in die Kreislaufwirtschaft aus.
§ Es fördert die Zusammenarbeit durch Koordinierungsmöglichkeiten und sensibilisiert Handlungsträger*innen zu relevanten Themen.
§ Es unterstützt den Aufbau eines Qualifizierungs- und Beratungsdienstes für die Kreislaufwirtschaft, der Unternehmen bei der Umsetzung von Transformationsprozessen in den Produktionsabläufen unterstützen soll. 

Over the last decade, the Peruvian economy has been one of the fastest-growing in Latin America. The manufacturing industry, which is dominated primarily by micro-enterprises and small businesses, plays an important role and employs around 15 per cent of the labour force.

Partly as a result of inefficient technologies, the manufacturing industry contributes significantly to pollution in urban centres and is responsible for excessive water and energy consumption.

The introduction and development of a sustainable circular economy is therefore a political priority in Peru. The circular economy has a key role to play in achieving the national climate targets and 2030 Agenda goals, and in diversifying production in the country. Peru reached an important milestone in 2020 by adopting the national action plan on the manufacturing industry’s transition to a circular economy, which must now be implemented.

The conditions are improved for implementing the manufacturing industry’s transition to a circular economy.

The project advises the Ministry of Production and the manufacturing industry on the following subjects:
§ It is supporting regulatory adjustments and aligning support and financing models with the transition to a circular economy.
§ It is promoting cooperation by creating opportunities for coordination and raising stakeholders’ awareness of relevant issues.
§ It is supporting the development of a circular economy training and advisory service, which will help companies to transform their production processes.
 

En el último decenio, la economía del Perú ha sido una de las que ha experimentado un crecimiento más rápido en América Latina. Su industria manufacturera, caracterizada por la abundancia de microempresas y pequeñas empresas, desempeña una función importante y da empleo a aproximadamente el 15 % de la población activa.

Este sector contribuye considerablemente a la contaminación del medioambiente en los centros urbanos —entre otras cosas, como consecuencia del uso de tecnologías ineficientes— y es responsable de un consumo excesivo de agua y energía.

Por ello, la introducción y ampliación de una economía circular sostenible son una prioridad política en el Perú. La economía circular sostenible reviste gran importancia para alcanzar los objetivos climáticos nacionales, los objetivos de la Agenda 2030 y la diversificación de la producción del país. En 2020 se alcanzó un hito importante mediante la Hoja de Ruta hacia una Economía Circular en el Sector Industria, que ahora debe implementarse.

Se han mejorado las condiciones para implementar la Hoja de Ruta hacia una Economía Circular en el Sector Industria.

El proyecto brinda asesoramiento al Ministerio de la Producción y a la industria manufacturera acerca de los siguientes temas:
§ Apoya la adaptación de normativas y orienta los modelos de fomento y financiación a una transición hacia la economía circular.
§ Fomenta la cooperación a través de posibilidades de coordinación y sensibiliza a los distintos actores sobre temas relevantes.
§ Apoya la creación de un servicio de cualificación y asesoramiento para la economía circular cuyo objetivo es brindar apoyo a las empresas a la hora de implementar procesos transformativos en la producción.
